ASSP Foundation Scholarships

Since 1990, the ASSP Foundation has awarded more than $6 million in academic scholarships and professional education grants to occupational safety and health students and professionals working towards their educational goals.

For the 2023-2024 program year, the ASSP Foundation awarded $295,000 in academic scholarships to 99 students within the occupational safety and health field, preparing for their careers or looking to supplement their careers with additional college coursework. 

The Central Indiana Chapter is proud to announce the following Chapter members as recipients of the ASSP Foundation Scholarship, funded by ASSP Central Indiana Chapter, in memory of Jim Kriner.

Subin Han – Scholarship Amount $3,000
Purdue University
Doctorate Degree Program: Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health

Jacob Malone – Scholarship Amount $2,000
Purdue University
Bachelor’s Degree Program: Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health

Future Leaders Golf Outing Scholarship Recipients

Proceeds from the 2024 Future Leaders Golf Outing provided four $3,000 scholarships to Central Indiana Chapter Student Members. Congratulations to our recipients!

Fire Safety Month Coloring Contest

Thank you to the children of several of our Chapter members for submitting your coloring sheet for Fire Safety Month. Participants will receive a gift card from the Chapter.

For our next contest, send a picture of yourself, family or co-workers participating in a fire safety/prevention activity. The winner will receive a $50 gift card.

All entries must be submitted by November 1 to asspceu@gmail.com. Only one entry per ASSP member, the winner will be announced in the November newsletter.
