Through the ASSP Foundation, the Chapter annually provides one $3,000 scholarship and two $1,000 scholarships. These scholarships are titled the “Jim Kriner Memorial Scholarship” in memory of a Central Indiana Chapter Past President. Students in Indiana studying occupational health and safety programs have the first priority in receiving these scholarships. The Chapter also organizes an annual scholarship golf outing to provide an additional scholarships. For more information on the scholarship golf outing visit the Golf Outing on the tool bar.
Throughout the year, the Chapter donates to organizations in need of safety equipment, such as personal protective equipment, bicycle helmets, first aid kits and AEDs. The Chapter has also donated to the Construction Family Assistance Foundation, whose mission is to financially assist families who have been affected by a life changing workplace injury.
