2026 Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards and Everyday Safety Heros

Applications for the 2026 Governor’s Workplace Safety awards and Everyday Safety Heros are open.

The annual Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards (GWSA) provide recognition for companies based on best practices for eliminating workplace injuries and illnesses, and salute employers who have made safety and health a paramount value.

The Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards are competitive awards. If your company is interested in being recognized, you must submit an application addressing all appropriate questions. Applications will be evaluated by members of the American Society of Safety Professionals and the Indiana Department of Labor’s INSafe consultation division.

Applications for both awards are due January 9, 2026.
